Sometime it takes time for one to figure out just where they fit in life, what they are truly great at and what career path they should take. In high school I recall there only being two options, business or sciences, in college options were also limited and opportunities weren’t so vast in the country. Students who wanted a creative career path were sort of pushed to alter roads and make their God given talent a mare hobby.
But one thing I love about God is that He not only places a gift within us but He stirs up that gift, develops it, exposes it and if we are willing to be disciplined enough those skills get refined and God opens the right door at the right time. If we are humbled enough and we are audacious to use that one gift God gives us He multiplies it. We see that truth manifest all the time, writers become poets, poets become songwriters, songwriters become singers/dancers, producers become directors etc. (Biblical principle) Mathew 25.14-30) romans 1.18-19.If you read those verses carefully we notice that not using our talents means we can lose them and face detrimental consequences.
